Sally Rushton – Ride Shotgun

Strategic brand activation agency Ride Shotgun has appointed Sally Rushton as Strategy Director.

Sally joins the Leeds, Sheffield and London-based agency from Rise at Seven, where she was Executive Strategy Director. She will be responsible for the Strategy team and proposition, building on the strong foundations and successes earned to date.

She brings a wealth of expertise across all disciplines of strategy from a successful marketing career working in agencies, including over eight years at Jaywing in various roles including Director of Strategy and Planning, and Head of Social where she specialised in cross channel content strategies and spearheaded the development of the digital content offer. Her experience includes multiple sectors and leading brands, including Monzo, Parkdean Resorts, Castrol, E.ON, Hallmark and first direct.

Commenting on joining Ride Shotgun, Sally said: “I’m really excited to be joining Ride Shotgun as the agency enters its next stage of growth. There’s so much talent across the team and I know so many agencies will be envious of the facilities and skills we have available to clients. I can’t wait to work with the amazing client list and help showcase what we can do strategically and creatively with smart and emotive storytelling.”

Sally’s appointment follows another recent senior hire of Business Development Director Roxy Fielding.

Both will be key players in continuing Ride Shotgun’s growth and fulfilling the ambition to become the UK’s leading strategic brand activation agency.

Ride Shotgun Chief Client Officer Andy Weir said: “Sally’s experience across all disciplines of strategy including brand, campaign, social and content, will enable us to build on our strategic heritage and create a truly first-class strategic offering.”
